What EXITS.co.uk is
EXITS.co.uk is a specialist UK business exit and confidential business sale advisory service for owners of established, privately owned companies. It represents sellers: we establish what a business is realistically worth, prepare it so the figures survive scrutiny, research and approach named trade and strategic buyers rather than advertising publicly, and stay involved through negotiation and due diligence to completion.
EXITS.co.uk is operated by Exit Partners Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11721705. Tony Vaughan is its director and the person accountable for the work carried out under the EXITS.co.uk name.
Why EXITS.co.uk exists
EXITS.co.uk exists to help business owners achieve the right exit, not simply any exit. Most owners sell once. The buyer on the other side of the table may acquire several businesses a year, with advisers who do nothing else. That asymmetry, more than the sector or the size of the profit, is what decides how most SME transactions end.
The service was built around that problem: proper representation for the owner of an established UK company, a confidential process the owner controls, and a named person accountable for the outcome rather than a rotating account team.
How we work with owners
Every engagement starts with a confidential conversation about what you want from an exit and whether the business is ready to deliver it. Where it is, we prepare and take it to a researched list of acquirers under your control. Where it is not yet, we say so, and set out what would need to change and roughly how long that takes. Some owners we speak to are two or three years from a sale; that conversation is still worth having early.
Nothing is advertised on a public marketplace, your company is never named in an approach you have not approved, and detailed information is released only under a signed non-disclosure agreement.
Experience behind the advice
The advisory team brings experience from more than 150 completed business transactions. That matters to an owner for practical reasons rather than as a statistic: it is the difference between recognising a buyer's negotiating position early and discovering it after heads of terms, between preparing for the questions due diligence will ask and answering them under time pressure, and between accepting a structure because it sounds normal and understanding what it will actually pay.
Sister services
Business valuation and exit planning are delivered as part of the same advisory relationship. If you want a supported view of value before deciding anything, start with a business valuation. If a sale is some way off, exit planning sets out what to strengthen first. When you are ready to transact, selling your business explains how a confidential sale is run.
